We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit Our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.

Call, Messaging, and Service Data

Because Bolt Answering provides answering, messaging, and related communication services, We may collect and process information related to calls, messages, leads, jobs, customers, service requests, calendar availability, call summaries, transcripts, recordings where enabled or permitted, and related operational information needed to provide the Service.

If You provide a mobile phone number or opt in to receive text messages from Bolt Answering, We may collect and process Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, SMS Consent Data, text message delivery information, and related messaging records.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies We use may include beacons, tags, scripts, cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service.

Cookies can be Persistent or Session Cookies. Persistent Cookies remain on Your personal computer or mobile device when You go offline, while Session Cookies are deleted as soon as You close Your web browser.

Where required by law, We use non-essential cookies, such as analytics, advertising, and remarketing cookies, only with Your consent. You can withdraw or change Your consent at any time using Our cookie preferences tool, if available, or through Your browser or device settings.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

Text Messaging and Mobile Information

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

All categories of sharing described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. SMS Consent Data will not be sold, rented, traded, or shared with any third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We will not share Your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing You with the services of that campaign. We may share Your Personal Data, including Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in or consent status, and related messaging information, with third parties that help Us provide Our messaging services, including platform providers, telecommunications carriers, phone companies, messaging vendors, compliance vendors, security vendors, and other Service Providers who assist Us in the delivery, routing, compliance, security, support, or operation of text messages.

If You receive text messages from Us, You may opt out of applicable text messages by replying STOP. You may request help by replying HELP, where supported. Opting out of text messages may affect Our ability to provide certain Service-related communications.

Call Recording & Transcription

Calls answered by the Bolt Answering assistant on your behalf are recorded and transcribed so you can review leads, confirm job details, and improve servicequality. Callers are notified at the start of the call that it may be recorded. Recordings and transcripts are stored securely, accessible only to your account, and deleted when you delete your account (subject to any legal retention period).

Use of De-identified Call & Message Content

We use the content of calls and messages handled by our assistant — including recordings, transcripts, and chat messages — to operate, evaluate, and improve our services, and to train, fine-tune, and improve the artificial-intelligence and machine-learning models that power them. Before this content is used for model training, we remove or obscure directly identifying information (such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and street addresses) so that training data is maintained in a de-identified form. We do not sell this content, and we do not use it to build profiles of individual callers for advertising.

Sharing Your Personal Data

We may share Your Personal Data in the following situations:

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with Our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce Our legal agreements and policies, provide the Service, and maintain appropriate business records.

Where possible, We apply shorter retention periods and/or reduce identifiability by deleting, aggregating, or anonymizing data. Unless otherwise stated, the retention periods below are maximum periods and We may delete or anonymize data sooner when it is no longer needed for the relevant purpose.

We may retain Personal Data beyond the periods stated above where necessary for legal obligations, legal claims, Your explicit request, security, fraud prevention, or technical limitations such as backup systems scheduled for routine deletion.

When retention periods expire, We securely delete or anonymize Personal Data according to Our procedures. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period consistent with Our backup retention schedule and are not restored except where necessary for security, disaster recovery, or legal compliance.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. This means information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of Your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in Your jurisdiction.

Where required by applicable law, We will ensure that international transfers of Your Personal Data are subject to appropriate safeguards and supplementary measures where appropriate.

The Company will take reasonable steps to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. No transfer of Your Personal Data will take place to an organization or country unless there are adequate controls in place, including controls for the security of Your data and other personal information.
